Glen E. Brandon

Mr. Glen E. Brandon is a native Arkansan. Except for a brief three (3) month period, Glen worked his entire adult life for only one (1) civilian organization. That organization is the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) . He joined the FBI in April, 1963 and retired in January, 1998. During his tenure with the FBI, Glen held numerous positions. He began as a supply clerk. He later served as part of a security patrol detail, where he was in charge of the Little Rock office at night. After about seven (7) years, he was promoted to investigative clerk, which required investigative work on all types of cases conducted by the FBI. Later he was promoted to chief clerk, Little Rock Division, making him the chief clerk in Arkansas. Glen held this position for a number of years.

At his own request, he accepted assignment to the investigative division. In this position, he was the criminal investigative photographer for the entire division. During his tenure, he excelled and taught criminal investigative photography to law enforcement agencies throughout the state. He held this assignment until his retirement in 1998. Glen worked with virtually every FBI agent in the state on all kinds of criminal cases. He also worked on cases in several other states, even as far away as New York City.

In addition to an outstanding career with the FBI, Glen also served in the Arkansas Army National Guard (ARNG), joining in 1961, shortly after completing high school. He served in the ARNG until April, 1963, when he was given an honorable discharge in order to join the FBI.

After graduating Advanced Individual Training in the ARNG, Glen completed an Airline Career Training School Course in Kansas City, MO. He also attended Little Rock University (now the University of Arkansas at Little Rock), Little Rock, Arkansas for two (2) years, and the FBI Academy, Quantico, VA , Criminal Photography School.

Glen is married and has two daughters, and three (3) grandchildren. He is a Deacon in his church and serves as the music director. He also enjoys Gospel music and sings at many church functions. He also loves to hunt, fish, and spend time with his family.
