Mr. Richard (Rich) A. Rawlins is Associate Security Director for United States Soldiers Foundation (USSF), Inc. Rawlins works with others on the USSF team to ensure employees, visitors, facilities and resources are safe and secure. A veteran special agent with 28 years service in the United States Treasury, he served in a variety of management and executive positions throughout the U.S., including in Washington, D.C. as Deputy Associate Director. After retiring from Federal service, Rawlins was appointed Deputy Director of Ohioís Homeland Security where he established and ran the Stateís counterterrorism intelligence fusion center. From that State position, Rawlins then accepted a position in the private sector as Security Director, First Group America, the nationís largest transportation conglomerate with 100,000 employees.
Raised in Ohio, Rawlins and his wife are involved there in community work and managing a small farm. His son, an Air Force Academy graduate, is currently stationed at the Pentagon. Rawlins is past President of Rotary Club International, currently the Vice Chair of the Berger Health System (Hospital) Board of Governors and serves on the Pickaway County Historical Society Board of Trustees.
