Jason Scott

Mr. Jason Scott is a native of Pineville, Louisiana and earned his Bachelorís of Science in Finance from Louisiana Tech University. He has served on both active and reserve status in the United States Army since enlisting in 1988. He has served three combat tours in Operations Desert Storm, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi freedom.

He previously commanded the 803rd Quartermaster, Opelika, AL where he is wholly accountable for leadership of strategic direction, tactical planning, and daily operational supervision of operations, training, logistics, maintenance and personnel administration of a US Army logistics unit. Jason held the position of Chief Information Management Officer for the 377th Theater Sustainment Command, Belle Chasse, LA where he was responsible for all aspects of Information Technology (IT), including strategic planning, training, infrastructure and policy for information technology.

As the Chief of the Information Assurance Branch of the Regional Computer Emergency Response Team in Southwest Asia, Jason managed the vulnerability assessment program charged with providing information assurance vulnerability assessments for Department of Defense Information Systems in the Southwest Asia Area of Operations including Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.

While assigned to the United States Army Information Infrastructure Defense Assistance Team, Southwest Information Operations Center as the Information Operations Officer, Jason oversaw the US Army Information Infrastructure Defense Assistance Team covering the southwest area of the United States. He provided teams of information security experts to conduct security vulnerability assessments of Department of Defense information systems and networks, assisted post commanders and system/network administrators in identifying and resolving information security issues, oversaw the implementation of the Computer Defense Assistance Program (CDAP) for Fort Sam Houston and Fort Hood.

Jason is married to Joan Jeane Scott and has three children, Victoria Ann Scott, Isabella Grace Scott and Nikolas Walter Scott.
